Nurse Adjusting Male PatientAre you or a loved one in need of infusion therapy? Instead of traveling to a skilled nursing facility, a clinic, or a hospital, Caremerica Home Health Services provides you with the convenience of Home Infusion services. With our expertise, we provide our clients with the opportunity to receive intravenous treatments safely from the comforts of their own home.

What Is Infusion Therapy?
Essentially, infusion refers to the administration of medications straight into a vein through the use of a catheter or a needle. Infusion therapy is ideal for treating patients with severe conditions that make it difficult or impossible to take oral treatments, or when injectable treatments are no longer effective.

Most people think that infusion therapy is only used for chemo; however, one of the most common uses of infusion therapy is to treat dehydration. Other chronic conditions commonly treated using infusion therapy also include congestive heart failure, immune deficiencies, rheumatoid arthritis, hemophilia, and multiple sclerosis just to name a few.
